About

about me.jpg

Hi there! My name is Kaila and I’m so excited to have you visiting my small corner of the internet! I’m a 22-year-old college student studying History in the beautiful city of Boston. I’m a Theta Phi Alpha and am currently Secretary of my school’s chapter. I love my dogs more than anything and I’ll almost always choose a night in with my family over a night out. But, I do like to indulge in a glass (or two) of wine or a Pina Colada. I hope you stick around for awhile!

Some random facts about me:
-I’m in love with Ed Sheeran
-My favorite color is blue
-I’m obsessed with christmastime and holiday eves
-I have a huge collection of nail polish and my wall rack (yes I have a wall rack) is completely filled
-I love planners and planning
-I was obsessed with Alexander Hamilton before the musical was even a thing (2008)

The Road Less Traveled (TRLT) was created in 2013 and was originally What Kaila Says. I created this blog as a creative outlet that really only served as a way for me to talk about whatever I want. I then decided that I wanted to rebrand a bit and change the direction of my blog. It’s still a place for me to talk about my life but also a place for me to share my tips, tricks, goals, etc to surviving college and life in general! Geared mostly towards 20-somethings but I hope to inspire people of all ages! I decided on the name based off of one of my favorite poems The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost. The line Two roads diverged in a wood, and I– I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all of the difference has inspired me to be myself since I was in high school and that it was I hope this blog will do, inspire you to be the best version of yourself!
